EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Education is fundamental for individual and collective human development. Our educational programs for children, youth and adults promote their integral development and promote their leadership.

ESTUDIA Y CRECE

The Estudia y Crece Program (“Study and Grow Programs”) integrates evening centers that impact students from scarce resources in grades K-6 from Monday to Friday. Our program supports comprehensive development through tutories, extracurricular activities, sports and community service activities, and emotional health programs that promote self-esteem, resilience and collective consciousness. Our centers in Vietnam and Puente Blanco continued to operate throughout the pandemic. Our students from the center of Juana Matos were taken care of at the two main centers.

VIETNAM ESTUDIA

Extended schedule program in the community of Vietnam, Guaynabo. Tutoring, snacks, mental health services, sports, workshops and crafts are provided.

PUENTE BLANCO EDUCA

Program of extended hours in the Puente Blanco, Cataño community. Tutoring, snacks, mental health services, sports, workshops and crafts are provided.

TRAYECTO UNIVERSITARIO

Program for guidance and access to postsecondary opportunities for young people between the ages of 12-18 years of allied public schools. Trayecto Universitario, which promotes school retention and postsecondary education, helps more than 100 participating students to define their professional journey, planning and preparing them for post-secondary life. Academic support and college applications guidence is offered by counselors on individual and group interventions.

STEM EXPERIENCES

Our Robotics League works with public schools in Cataño and Guaynabo, with FIRST LEGO LEAGUE. It's a program for children and youth that promotes the development of STEM skills by solving real problems through meaningful and playful learning.

ESCUELA CON CAUSA

A public alliance school of the community that serves more than 350 students grades 6-12 of the communities impacted by Caras. The school is a free, non-sectarian, and inclusive institution that promotes the human development of our students and their families through an integral offering of excellence, focused on a framework of sustainable community development.
